Wednesday Night Service October 7th, 2009 __________________________________ The first Leaders Blog! Woohoo! Each week a leader will post his or her thoughts and take aways from the evening, just to give you an idea of what this will pertain to. Hopefully it will be a helpful interaction between the leadership team and the parents. Visit the "Contact Us" page to give us your e-mail and each time a blog is posted or new information is given, you will recieve an e-mail! Tonight was the start of Pastor Billy's "Resurrecting the Champion Within" series. Here are some of the key takeaways that I got from Pastor Billy's message: - God has called us to live as champions. - You can either accept or reject that calling. - It is okay to desire to be successful in life. - There are two kinds of success: Worldy success and Godly or Biblical success. - God's unlimited strength + our strong desire = success The main announcments, which are yet to make it to our calendar on the website, would be the Impact night on October 28th and our Life Groups bonfire on the 18th.
