Who We Are:

Slam Student Ministries is a community of students who Passionately LOVE God, LIVE for God, and LEAD the world to God. We are the Youth Ministry at New Life Fellowship in Moline, Illinois. We serve students throughout the Quad Cities, 6-12th grade. Join us this Wednesday night at 7pm as we come together to hang out with friends, have fun, and take on the issues you face everyday. Wednesday Sevices include: Live Music, Exciting Games, Relevant Messages, Hang Time with Friends, and a Snack Bar!

Woohoo! Each week a leader will post his or her thoughts and take aways from the evening, just to give you an idea of what this will pertain to. Hopefully it will be a helpful interaction between the leadership team and the parents. Tonight was the start of Pastor Billy's "Resurrecting the Champion Within" series. Here are some of the key takeaways that I got from Pastor Billy's message: - God has called us to live as champions. - You can either accept or reject that calling. - It is okay to desire to be successful in life. - There are two kinds of success: Worldy success and Godly or Biblical success. - God's unlimited strength + our strong desire = success The main announcements, which are yet to make it to our calendar on the website, would be the Impact night on October 28th and our Life Groups bonfire on the 18th.
